Make repair requests easier to manage.
A repair business needs a clear way for customers to describe a problem, receive follow-up, and check the status of a repair. Behind that public experience, the application and its hosting need to stay available and protect private ticket details.
What I worked on
The operational RoadFix Electronics website provides repair request intake, customer-facing information, and private ticket tracking. I worked on the software and deployment behind that experience, including the application’s backend infrastructure and HTTPS routing. The live website can be viewed at roadfix.net.
Technologies used
A custom web application deployed in Docker behind Caddy and HTTPS. The separate RoadFix Remote prototype uses Django and a local development environment.
What this demonstrates
Customer workflows need more than an attractive page. Intake, ticket access, backend services, and deployment have to fit together so a customer can use the service and staff can follow up.
Technical details: separate RoadFix Remote prototype
RoadFix Remote is an isolated service-desk development MVP. Its documented Django workflows cover tenant-scoped roles, devices, tickets, dispatch, estimates, and audit records. Authentication, authorization, recovery, and core workflows were exercised with synthetic data. It is not connected to the live RoadFix customer platform.
- Tenant-aware roles and workflow boundaries
- Ticket, dispatch, and estimate records
- Audit history and synthetic-data acceptance tests
- Proposed remote-support and vault integrations kept separate
Verified outcome and limits
The RoadFix Electronics website is live with repair request and ticket-tracking paths. RoadFix Remote remains a development prototype: live remote sessions and customer deployment have not been verified, and its features are not presented as an operational customer service.
