Research / Engineering Projects

Hard problems need
careful testing.

Some technical work begins with a question instead of a product specification. These projects show how I investigate feasibility, build test systems, and explain what the evidence does and does not prove.

01 / DATA SOFTWARE

AstraQuant

A Python research system collects public market data and runs paper-only trading simulations. The work demonstrates data pipelines, automation, databases, and repeatable testing. It does not establish trading profitability.

02 / DEVICE ENGINEERING

Lenovo Tab P12 Linux

Adapting an Android tablet for native Linux means solving boot, kernel, driver, and recovery challenges. This project remains in progress; specific hardware achievements are unverified until documented.

03 / APPLICATION PROTOTYPE

RoadFix Remote

A separate service-desk prototype tests tenant-aware ticket, dispatch, and estimate workflows with synthetic data. It is not an operational RoadFix customer service.

Have an unusual challenge?

Turn an open question
into a useful plan.

For feasibility studies, difficult integrations, performance problems, or unusual device work, I can help define what to test and what a successful result would look like.
